Campground roads can hide children, pets, speed bumps and low branches. Turn off distracting cabin lights, roll down a window and use a spotter.

Do a minimum safe setup

Level enough for safe appliance operation, chock the wheels and connect only what you need. Save awnings, mats and elaborate outdoor setups for daylight.

Know when to stop

If the site is too tight to assess safely, use an overflow area or ask for help. A short delay beats body damage or a utility strike.
